Senior Home Safety Specialist

Course Overview: This certification course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to ensure the safety and well-being of senior citizens in their homes. Participants will learn about various aspects of senior home safety, including fall prevention, fire safety, home modifications, accessibility issues, technology, Alzheimer’s/Dementia considerations, crime prevention, personal safety, communication, and how to perform a complete home safety assessment.

• To receive the Senior Home Safety Specialist certification, participants must pass each module quiz with a minimum score of 80%.
• Participants will receive a digital certificate upon completing all modules and passing the exam.
